When I first met Kait, I was sure that we would maybe be acquaintances, but not be friends. If you us, you know we are total opposites. But, at the same time, we share so much using abbrevs, a few personality traits, and most importantly, a love for Jesus. Maybe some DNA too 🤷🏼‍♀️. I’m so grateful that neither of us left it at our first impression of one another because Kait is one of the best friends I’ve ever had and my life would not be nearly as sweet without her in it. I am honored to stand by her side as her matron on what I know will be the BEST day as she marries her soulmate. I know the life she and Chase build together will be one that both glorifies the Lord and paints a picture of the Gospel to those around them. I am blessed to know each of them and be a part of their big day!

When I reflect on my life, It’s nearly impossible to think of a time when Kaitlyn was not present. Snapshots from over the years include Awana, softball, soccer, Getaway, mission trips, laughter-filled sleepovers, beach trips and cruises. And that’s just listing the good stuff; Kaitlyn has been there for all the hard stuff too. From childhood to adulthood, nothing has severed our friendship, and for that I am grateful. The best word to describe Kaitlyn as a friend is faithful. She loves unconditionally, speaks the truth in all circumstances, pushes people to Christ, seeks adventure, loves spontaneity, desires to help others, and is always, always there. I have confidence that this will continue for the rest of our days here on Earth. I love you, B ❤️

Kaitlyn and I grew up together at Parkwood, but didn’t really become close friends until we worked together at the church one summer in college. We’ve shared many laughs and embarrassing moments throughout the years, but also many tears and hardships. If there is one thing that I can say about Kaitlyn, it is that she has an unwavering love for The Lord. To watch her grow into the person she is today has been an honor. I can’t even begin to express my excitement for her and Chase to join together in marriage; I know that they will glorify The Lord in all they do. Kait, I am so excited to stand by you on the best day of you life. I love you so much!
