How do we reach the Rare Book Room?

There is an entrance to the third floor at 826 Broadway with elevators. Please use this entrance and do not go through the bookstore at 828.

Which airports do you recommend?

Answer

LaGuardia Airport (in Queens) and Newark International Airport (New Jersey). From LaGuardia, I would highly recommend getting a car from the airport. If you opt for Newark, there is a train that takes you directly into New York Penn Station where you can either take the subway or Uber, Lyft, or a take a cab. Do not get off at Newark Penn Station. If you are staying at the Washington Square Hotel and would like to take the subway, you can take the ACE line downtown to W 4 St-Wash Sq. This is a direct subway ride and requires no transfers.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a block of rooms at Washington Square Hotel. If you'd like to reserve one of the room blocks, please do so by September 20, 2024. If you opt out of the room block, there are several hotels in the area, but I would recommend staying between 23rd Street at 3rd Street to avoid dealing with traffic if you take a car to the venue or to avoid subway issues if that is your preferred choice.

What is the weather like in NYC in November?

It will most likely be somewhat chilly, probably in the 40s to 50s, and colder in the evening. As it gets closer to the wedding, I will update this section.
