Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We are asking all of our guests to RSVP no later than August 30th, 2024. If you plan to RSVP by mail, please drop your RSVP card in the mail by August 26th, 2024.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Amazon and Target. Both registries can be accessed from the registry tab on our website or directly from Amazon and Target. https://www.target.com/gift-registry/gift/g-and-kait https://www.amazon.com/wedding/share/G-and-Kait

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the guest limit provided by our venue, we were unable to allow all of friends and family an extra guest seat at the wedding. We understand that this can be hard to hear, but we are politely asking that only those addressed on the invitation envelope be in attendance. If you have any questions or concerns, please send us an email at gkdovre2024@gmail.com.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all of your littles, we are asking that all guests be twelve years old or older. We have a strict guest limit and will be serving alcohol at the reception, so we are politely asking that all children under the age of twelve have a sitter. If you have any questions or need local sitter recommendations, feel free to email us at gkdovre2024@gmail.com.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see everyone dressed up to celebrate our day with us! We ask that you wear semi-formal attire such as a cocktail dress, sundress, or dressy separates for women and a dress shirt and slacks for men; jackets and ties optional. Please, no jeans or t-shirts.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We will be providing a shuttle to and from the venue and hotel where we have reserved block rooms. This shuttle will only be available to those staying at the hotel. All other guests will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be parking provided at the venue for all guests in the field just adjacent to the reception building. There are also a very limited number of handicap parking spaces close to the building that will be available for those with mobility challenges.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:15 pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to allow plenty of time to find a seat before the ceremony begins.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely! We want all of our guests to enjoy this celebration! If you have an allergy and need alternate dinner options, feel free to send us an email at gkdovre2024@gmail.com.

Can I make a song recommendation for the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! If you have a song that you would like to hear at the reception, send it to us in an email at gkdovre2024@gmail.com! Keep in mind that we will be filtering any suggestions before they are added to the reception playlist.
