Meet Our I-Do Crew

Alex

Maid of Honor

Alex and I met in first grade and immediately hit it off. My most fond memories of childhood are with Alex, between playing on the same softball league, making whirlpools in her pool, staying up entirely too late during sleepovers, watching scary movies, playing Rock Band, and more. Our friendship is 22 years strong, and I often refer to her as a chosen sister. We have done everything together for our entire lives. Alex is truly my ride or die. She picks me back up on my feet if I am down, and she knows the best ways to cheer me up. We see each other every week, whether it's for wine nights, double dates, girl talk, or shopping. I am grateful every day to have a forever friend like her. It is no surprise that we are each other's Maid of Honors in our upcoming weddings, and it has been so special to go through such an exciting life event together.

Brendan

Man of Honor

Brendan and I met 12 years ago in the Binghamton Youth Symphony. Brendan "promposed" to me during my favorite song, by my favorite composer; "The Sleeping Beauty Suite" by Tchaikovsky. It was only a matter of time before I "promposed" back at his BCMEA concert. We had the best time at the Maine Endwell and Binghamton proms. Post high school, our friendship has truly blossomed. Brendan is the type of friend who is a natural nurturer. He is comforting, compassionate, and always gives the best advice. He not only knows all my stories, he has lived them with me. Bren is a blast to be around and has such an infectious energy. He's my go-to-guy for the most incredible charcuertie boards, fashion advice, and musical trivia. It was only natural that I would propose to him one more time, and ask him to be my Man of Honor.

Emily

Bridesmaid

I started my higher education journey at Gannon University and met Emily my first week at school. We hung out almost daily, as we were in the same program and lived on the same floor. Although I was only at Gannon for a little over a year, our friendship has remained strong for nine years now. There are occasional gaps of time where our busy schedules take over, and we don't talk as much as we'd like to. But when we do, it feels like I had just spoken to her an hour ago. We have meaningful conversation, and we can talk about anything and everything. Emily has always had the ability to make me belly laugh and her personality is contagious. I can always count on her to discuss the latest pop culture trends, tell me Starbucks order hacks, and belt Celine Dion with me.

Sam

Bridesmaid

Sam and I were in similar programs at Tompkins Cortland Community College, thus sharing many classes together. We then both attended SUNY Oswego and by then, we were inseparable. She would sit with me until my 3am shifts were over as a Resident Assistant, we would go out together, and we would have study dates in the library. She was my sanity through my college years, and still is today. Sam is the type of person who lights up a room when she walks in. She has a big, beautiful smile, and is not afraid to strike up a conversation with anyone. We frequently share music with each other, and she always gives me the scoop on what hair products I should check out. I know she'll be the person who will touch up my hair on my big day.

Kristina

Bridesmaid

Kristina is just the kindest soul. We met during my first co-op at The Raymond Corporation. Over the past few years, she has introduced me to an amazing group of girlfriends. She is great at bringing people together, whether it's hosting crazy elaborate brunches, or planning dinners and gatherings. Kristina shows up, she supports, and she effortlessly brings people joy. She is a light in this world that cannot be diminished. Kristina celebrates friend's successes and accomplishments as if they are her own. A prime example is when I won an award in 2021, and she organized a group chat to send me flowers and a card. She really cares about her friends. I have the honor of being a bridesmaid in her wedding, and it means so much to me that she is now a part of mine.

Catherine

Bridesmaid

I initially (and briefly) met Catherine several years ago. I befriended her sister through music gigs and we met at her sister's weekly watch parties of The Bachelorette. Her sister moved down south and the watch parties were put on hold. Fast forward to 2020. Kristina brought together a group of her girlfriends, forming a "brunch crew". Oddly enough, I knew one of the girls...Catherine. Fast forward again to current day, and I consider Catherine one of my closest friends. Her sister has moved back, we have resumed our weekly watch parties, and we frequently hangout with our "brunch crew". This four dog/one cat mom and I truly became so close. We have an uncanny amount of shared goals, passions, and life experiences in common. I love how our story has unfolded over the years, and I can't wait to see how it progresses in the future!

Will

Best Man

I met Will on my first day of Kindergarten. He was the first classmate I spoke with and has been my best friend ever since. Whether it was taking walks through our neighborhood almost every day and night, or sitting on his front porch talking until we saw the sun rise, Will is hands down the person I have spent the most time with in my life. I can not think of one cherished childhood and young adult memory that does not include Will right there with me. For over 20 years, Will has been the most loyal, generous, and thoughtful person I've ever known. It is only fitting that Will stands directly beside me on my special day, as he has stood by my side my entire life.

Dakota

Groomsman

I first became friends with Dakota when he moved to my school in the 6th grade. Even as a child, Dakota was the type of person that could effortlessly strike a friendship with anyone he met. Dakota is the most insanely charismatic person I have ever met in my entire life. So charismatic, in fact, I have seen him convince a complete stranger that they went to middle school together during a school field trip. Despite him living in five different time zones in the last 10 years, Dakota and I have always been able to maintain our friendship. I remember staying up until 1am on weekdays, just so I could play a game of Age of Empires with Dakota on his lunch break. Luckily now, we can go to breweries, go golfing, and talk on the phone most days in the same time zone! Dakota inspires me to be confident and daring, and I'm honored to have him as a groomsman.

Johnny

Groomsman

Although we went to the same school growing up, I didn’t officially meet Johnny until the later years of high school. Instantly, it was like we were friends our entire childhood. Some of my favorite memories with Johnny were our daily, never boring, 45 minute commute to SUNY Broome, or our late night drives to various places. Have you ever choked on a pancake in Denny's at 2am because you were laughing too hard? I have, thanks to Johnny. If you’ve met him, you know that spending any amount of time with Johnny is an absolute guarantee to make you snicker like a child and crack up so hard you cry! That's exactly what he's done for me all the years I've known him, and hopefully I’ll be able to hold in my chuckles while he's standing with me as a groomsman.

Ryan

Groomsman

Ryan and I became friends on our small town, little league baseball team while he was still homeschooled. By the time he came to our school in 7th grade, we didn't skip a beat. Ryan and I have made a lot of great memories together. I will never forget going to garage sales every weekend, and watching him haggle to save a dollar…or jamming on top of his hill, and turning up our instruments so loud, the entire town could hear us. Ryan is a beacon of support and the world's biggest hype man, even when you're feeling your lowest. I know he'll give me encouragement every step of the way on my most important day.

Tim

Groomsman

For the majority of my childhood, Tim was essentially my stepbrother. Although we didn’t choose the circumstance, I couldn’t think of a better person to grow up with. Our parents may have called us mischievous, but the truth is, we just knew how to have fun, like all the times we would skip summer bible camp and have pool parties at his house instead. Don't let his rough & gruff persona fool you, there is not a single thing Tim would not do for his friends. He is the type of person you can call at 4am to pick you up because you have a flat tire. Trust me, I have. With no filter, Tim tells it like it is and I can’t wait for him to bust my chops every minute until I say “I Do”.

Adam

Groomsman

Adam is my older, and only brother. Despite our half-a-decade age difference, Adam has always treated me as a friend, and not a little brother. He has always made me feel like an equal. He would let me stay up past my bedtime teaching me how to play Pokémon, and always encouraged me to spend time with him and his friends. To this day, Adam still includes me in all of his interests and hobbies, whether it's taking me to local punk shows, or letting me tag along for Taco Tuesdays at the Belmar Pub. Adam has always been an inspiration for me. He's taught me to enjoy the little things in life, and how to always go with the flow. Adam is a living, breathing, “Chill-Pill”, and he will be exactly what I need when I am a bundle of nerves standing at the altar.
