We met at the local college bars in Peoria where our friend groups kept being at the same places at the same times. After we figured out we were both going to the same nursing school we began to hangout often after classes and help each other study. As time went on we grew closer and closer and the rest is history.
Ethan's original plan was to invite family and friends down to Nashville for a proposal. He was going to have the friends take me around Nashville to spots that we have been together where we have made some of our favorite memories so far on our journey. The final destination was slated for the Pedestrian Bridge where we had placed a lock with our initials. This is where the proposal would have happened surrounded by our friends and family. Some very unfortunate health circumstances arose in our lives. My Grandma Gail became ill and Ethan knew the role she had played in my life and how important it was for her to be apart of this entire process. So, Ethan rearranged his plans, and made sure she was apart of the most important "yes" of my life! A happy memory we will all cherish forever.
