It's time

We first connected and started talking online in 2011 as friends not looking for anything serious. Drew was working at Windy City Pizza & BBQ in San Mateo, CA, and Alycia was finishing college as an undergraduate at Indiana University-Purdue University in Indianapolis while also interning at Indianapolis Downtown Inc in Indianapolis, IN. Over the next year, they quickly got to know one another and bonded over various large and small topics. It blossomed into love. After Alycia ventured to San Francisco and spent time with Andrew in person in spring of 2012, we started planning out a future together. Alycia's internship at Indianapolis Downtown Inc ended shortly after, and she moved back to her small Indiana hometown, North Judson. After applying for jobs and no luck in the Midwest, Alycia and Drew agreed on a common goal: Alycia moving away from the Midwest and spreading their wings together in the San Francisco Bay Area. By the end of summer 2012, Andrew drove halfway across the country to meet Alycia's family in Indiana, and we drove to the Bay Area together. The drive turned into about a two-week road trip vacation where we went to different National Parks (Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, Grand Teton) and camped in campgrounds. After moving to San Mateo, CA, Alycia was able to land a job at Yelp in Oct 2012. We lived in San Mateo for 4.5 years before moving to Chicago in March 2017, where we later bought a condo (May 2024) and currently reside together. Andrew proposed to Alycia on Oct. 15, 2024 atop Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park at sunset. We've been together for over 14 years and counting! We could not be more excited to continue celebrating our love with our family and friends.
