FAQs

Question

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be outdoors in the front lawn, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the ceremony on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats. For that reason, stiletto or otherwise-thin heels are not recommended.

Question

What's the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

We are asking for semi-formal attire. Think cocktail dresses or longer for the ladies and dress pants with a button-down or suit jacket for the men. We kindly ask that guests avoid jeans, leggings, athletic wear, hoodies, flip-flops, and hats.

Question

Are there any colors or styles you'd prefer me to wear?

Answer

We would love for our guests to embrace the spring season with light, romantic colors and florals. The only color we ask you to avoid is yellow, as that is reserved for the bridesmaids.

Question

Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?

Answer

We are not allowing additional plus-ones to our wedding, as we'd like to keep the guests list just to those who know us well. The name of every guest invited to attend is clearly listed on your invitation and no additional guests can be accommodated.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash or a credit card along if you plan to attend the after-party, as drinks after the reception will not be covered.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space and find a seat.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present in the moment. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you would like!

Question

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Please respect our privacy and don't share photos of our wedding on social media, as we'd like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images.
