A wink from Massun and a "Is he winking at me?" glance to the left and right from Kailyn sparked their love story. While at a mutual friend's party, Massun didn't allow anything to stop him from getting to know this gorgeous woman. He swooped in after Kailyn left a conversation with two gentlemen. He did not know if she was there with either of them. Kailyn was impressed by his confidence and determination to "shoot his shot." Together, they took a chance and said yes to this journey together. Along the way, they have learned that love is not linear, and it is not a one-size-fits-all. Their passion and bond have grown deeper roots in some of their most challenging seasons, proving that saying yes to love God's way has fortified their bond. October 31, 2020, Massun planned a special trip just for Kailyn. He had a room beautifully decorated with roses, candles, and the prayers that have showered their relationship. She, of course, thinks they have the wrong room and goes to leave. Massun reassured Kailyn that this was the correct room. With her mouth dropped and in true Kai fashion, she asks, "are you serious?" over and over again. This was also the last day of Kailyn's Daniel fast. Little did Massun know, Kailyn believed that God would reveal the true purpose of their relationship as a result of this fast. It's safe to say that God blew her mind and continues to as they journey towards becoming husband and wife. Encouraging one another is a core practice for them. They make it their business to speak life into their relationship and who they want to grow into. They know that the wedding day is not the end of the work. It is the beginning.
