Finally!!

How we met: Working at Beulah Beach as camp counselors during Summer 2019. When they started dating: July 12, 2020 First I Love You: End of August 2020, on a picnic bench at Robinette's Orchard in Grand Rapids, MI. When She knew: After spending a whole month straight in the same town and taking a road trip with Luke's family, Kailin knew she didn't want to spend her life with anyone else besides him. When He knew: After Luke visited Kailin for the first time in Grand Rapids. (Leaving the person you love is the WORST). How he proposed: Luke drove to Grand Rapids on April 22, 2021. He had previously mailed poetically scripted clues to Kailin's closest friends and asked them to hide them in specific locations that were special to Luke and Kailin's relationship. Kailin walked to her car thinking she was going to get coffee with a friend, but instead found a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers and a clue leading her through a scavenger hunt. At the end, Luke was waiting down on one knee on a bridge in the middle of a hike they had taken early in their relationship. He asked her to be his wife and she was the most excited she had ever been. What they are most looking forward after getting hitched: Van life!
