What is the parking at the venue?

Answer

Large grass lot and gravel lot closer to the venue for those with wheelchairs and who need easier access

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal attire, dresses do not have to be floor length, suit and tie but can remove suit jackets for reception. Feel free to bring more comfortable shoes for the reception as there will be dancing and yard games

Are there covered areas to avoid the rain or sun?

Answer

There is an entirely covered area for the reception if it rains. The barn has indoor areas that will be set up to accommodate anyone that needs to sit and cool down.

Answer

Due to limited capacity, kids are not included

Should I stay in Portland or closer to the venue?

Answer

That is entirely up to you! Oregon City is about 25-45 minutes south from Portland, depending on the neighborhood you stay in and traffic. There is no convenient public transit that reaches as far as Oregon City. Suggestions of hotels near the venue are listed on the Travel tab.

Is Portland dangerous?

Answer

If you watch the news you may see Portland is often portrayed poorly. We love our home and our city! There are some areas to avoid, like in any city, but do not be worried about your safety when coming to visit. Please see the Things To Do tab for some suggestions.
