Named one of the best hotels in Seattle, Hotel Ballard is located in the heart of Ballard and within walking distance to most of the wedding activities. This elegant boutique hotel boasts a rooftop terrace with amazing views of the Olympics and access to the adjoining Olympic Athletic Club & Spa. It's surrounded by amazing coffee shops, restaurants, breweries, and boutique shopping. It is a small hotel and rooms fill up fast. We weren't able to reserve a block, but you can book directly on their website or we have a few rooms reserved at a discount so contact Kailey & Michael if you are interested. The Ballard Inn, originally the American-Scandinavian Bank, has been completely renovated and restored to it's 1902 elegance. This is a sister hotel to Hotel Ballard and located next door. This is a more affordable option while still being in a great location. NOTE: The Ballard Inn does not have AC (sometimes needed in the summer!) and some of the rooms do have shared bathrooms, so pay attention to this while book if this is important to you.

If you're looking on your own, look in any of these Seattle neighborhoods: Ballard, Fremont, Wallingford, Queen Anne, and Magnolia. Just try to avoid Aurora (Highway 99) if you can! This option is more north and east of the venue but is conveniently located 5 blocks away from the Northgate Link Light Rail station for anyone interested in being close to public transit. Link Light Rail can take you downtown and to the airport easily. This option would be about a 20-25 minute drive/cab ride to the wedding venue.
