FAQs

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

We kindly request that our guests dress in formal attire for the occasion. This means suits or tuxedos for the gentlemen and formal gowns or elegant cocktail dresses for the ladies. We also ask that guests avoid wearing colors reserved for the bride- cream, ivory, or white. Please note, if you are retired or active-duty military, please feel free to wear your military uniform. Oo-rah!

Question

What accommodations are available nearby?

Answer

Please view our "travel" tab to see suggested airports and hotels. If you are interested in viewing additional suggested airbnbs or rentals please visit: https://supposeyvenue.com/faq. This is the FAQ page of our wedding venue where there are a handful of recommended places to stay that offer discounts if you mention "Supposey." Please note, that our wedding is on Columbus Day Weekend where places will book out early.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night off to relax and celebrate with us!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests, we can only accommodate those formally listed on your wedding invitation. We kindly ask for your understanding and appreciate your cooperation.

Question

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from using your phones or cameras during the ceremony and put them on silent. We want everyone to be fully present during our mass. We have a professional photographer who will capture all the special moments, and we can’t wait to share those photos with you.

Question

Can I recieve communion during the mass?

Answer

We kindly ask that if you are not a practicing Catholic that you do NOT receive communion. Only those who are practicing Catholics and are properly prepared to receive the Eucharist should come forward for communion. If you are not a practicing Catholic, please remain seated and offer your prayers during communion.

Question

New Travel Requirements

Answer

On May 7, 2025, U.S. travelers must be REAL ID compliant to board domestic flights and access certain federal facilities. Travelers who fail to produce a REAL ID or an accepted alternative may not be allowed through TSA security checkpoints. We would suggest bringing your passport as a back up form of identification if you have not gotten your REAL ID!
