This is one of our favorite spots! The food and drinks are great! There are a few McMenamin's locations in town, and truthfully you can't go wrong with any of them, but this one is our favorite. Order recommendations: cheeseburger slider trio, cajun tots (all tot sides can be made cajun), grateful veg mezza, and the burgers and beer are great!
Best Italian food! This place is BUSY and for good reason. If there is a wait there is a great bar around the corner (BarTini Bistro) that I would suggest you wait at and order some yummy cocktails/mocktails. The pizza at Osteria DOP is sublime (pro tip: order any pizza with the lightly fried dough. You're welcome in advance.) Sitting at the counter is the best experience. Great food, drinks and orders are family style so be ready to share and try as much as you can!
Great spot for beer/cider/wine/seltzer and good food from multiple food trucks! We love sitting on the roof top on a sunny day. Our personal favorites are Dozo (katsu chicken sandwich is awesome) and Arekie (butter chicken crunchwrap puts TBell to shame)!
Hey, Neighbor! - Friendly is a pizza place that is really close to our house and so delicious! Great food, great drinks and great people! They have a lot of options, but mostly pizza (they can make pies gluten free and vegan cheese!).
The best sausage rolls and scotch eggs in town! Great little Irish bar with excellent drinks and food!
PublicHouse is a great spot with multiple food trucks, drinks and a great atmosphere. They have a ton of beers on tap and the Whiskey Lounge has great cocktails! It's in an old, renovated church and they are a great place to catch live music, trivia or bingo. Check out the website to see what they have going on!
Great little tiki bar in town! They have a few food truck options as well. The theme is fun and the drinks while sugary are very good! Ask Justin how many Zombies! he's allowed to have...
A 21+ bowling alley with great food and drinks. They also have a few pool tables and shuffle board. Really cool spot to hang even if you don't want to bowl.
Great brunch spot! All the classics and they are so welcoming. The apple cider mimosas are bomb.
5th Street Public Market & Alley is a great spot to shop, eat and drink in town. Provisions is a great place to shop, grab a coffee to go and bottle of wine for later! Across from the market is the 5th Street Alley and they have more shopping, winery tasting rooms and an ice cream shop! This is a really cute area in Eugene.
The Saturday Market is a really great spot to get the Eugene experience. So many vendors with hand made gifts, art, fresh produce, flowers and more. So many food carts and usually live music. It is great people watching at the very least. An excellent way to spend a Saturday morning/early afternoon.
We have a lot of great wineries out here and Sarver is one of our favorites. Great views and great wine! Bit of a drive, but worth it! They are a bit smaller, but we have always found a spot to sit.
Sweet Cheeks is another great winery with great views! This place is a bit bigger, but also busier. You may want to make a reservation or just chance it and go for a nice drive! There are few other wineries and breweries in the area if they are too busy.
The Owen Rose Garden is a beautiful and easy walk. The roses are gorgeous and you are right next to the river path if you want to extend your walk. If you stay on the path it is completely paved and mostly flat. You can make it as long or short as you like all while taking in the beautiful Willamette River.
Beautiful rhododendron garden. Lot's of paths to walk and so much beautiful nature to take in.
Looking for a moderate hike with beautiful views? This is it! I recommend the "easier" trail. (Just keep walking straight up the stairs and straight onto the path) It is a little longer, but a little less steep. It is gorgeous and a great workout. A heads up that the last 1/4 mile are stairs and you will regret doing this hike in that moment, but the view is worth it!
