Kailey and Andrew met on April 29th, 2021, at their local church’s young adult gathering. Sparks flew, and the two quickly found interest in each other. Alongside their friends, they went to a local ice cream shop, a common spot among the group. As friends headed home, the two stayed longer and talked past midnight. Days later, their friend group was going to a local fair close to Andrews's house. Kailey excitedly asked Andrew to go to the, and he happily accepted! On the day of the fair, Andrew had to arrive much later than the rest of the group, and when he arrived at the fair, he parked his car in the front lot, and as a result, his car got stuck entirely in the sand. He discouragingly told Kailey about the situation, but she decided to tell the group about the situation and encouraged them to come to Andrews's aid. The friends came to his car to help cheer him up, and after his car was removed from the sand, some group members decided to go to a nearby McDonald’s to hang out because he missed the whole fair. Kailey goes too, and the two spend a little time together. After the night was over, Kailey shared with him that she was the one that encouraged the group to come to his car. He is so touched that she went out of her way to make his situation better, ultimately turning his whole night around. He immediately asks her out. After all, if she cares this much to do this for him, surely she is very interested in him. Kailey excitedly says yes, and the two get coffee and lunch the very next day. Since then, the couple has shared many laughs and loving moments. On December 8th, 2021, their seven month-anniversary, Andrew proposed to Kailey, and she (obviously) said yes!
