Kaileen and Michelle first became friends during their freshman year of college in Carthage’s pep band. They bonded over their mutual love of purple and since then have become great friends. Michelle is the friendliest person you’ll ever meet and always knows how to put a positive spin on any situation. On the big day, you’ll probably find her running around making sure everything is running smoothly and being prepared for anything, especially for those tear-jerking moments!
Robert Gielata
Best Man
Robert and Taylor go all the way back to the Fourth grade where they bonded over Metal Gear Solid, Pokemon and Lego. He spent so much time over the years at the Oanes household that he became an honorary member. Nowadays the two are best known for their MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction) competitive spirit in board and video games.
Kristin Edens
Bridesmaid
Kaileen and Kristin met on the way to the first day of Kindergarten and have been best friends ever since. Kristin is an excellent artist and amazing teacher and since they were kids they’ve bonded over their creativity. On the big day, you’ll find Kristin scoping out the best spots for photo opportunities and keep your eye out for some of her artwork amongst the decor.
Chris Gicla
Groomsman
Chris knows how to make a boring situation great, which is something Taylor learned when the two met in Mr. Celaya's 8th Grade Math. Chris and Taylor shared math classes for the rest of their time in high school where they would laugh about Fattingtons and rage comics. Most recently Chris is responsible for Taylor's new obsession with Chicago football.
Katie Falvey
Bridesmaid
Kaileen and Katie were neighbors growing up spent lots of time running back and forth to play in each other’s yards. Since then, they’ve bonded over their love of travel and great food. Katie has an incredibly positive attitude and as she travels the world, she prides herself on discovering cute gluten-free restaurants and delicious ciders. On the big day, you’ll most like find Katie chatting amongst different groups at the party or even trying out one of Hotel Baker’s ciders.
Chad Oanes
Groomsman
Chad is Taylor's older brother by two years and current roommate. He and Taylor enjoyed many of the same things while growing up, one of which was history. The two would go on to earn a minor in the field just because. He and Taylor travelled together to Japan where Chad captured the proposal. Thinks he's a scientist when he completes a Lego set in less than 4 - 7 years.
Sheila Brogan
Bridesmaid
Sheila and Kaileen met on their high school cross country team and first bonded over being “hair twins” because of their matching curly brown hair. Since then the two have become great friends and have gone on many adventures together. Sheila loves her dogs, making delicious food, and is never afraid to strike up a conversation with someone. On the big day, you most likely find her coming up with excellent photo opportunities and being the life of the party on the dance floor.
Matthew Oanes
Groomsman
Matt is Taylor's younger brother by a year, but most people find that hard to believe. He spent many years by Taylor's side from elementary school to college, which along with his stature earned him the nickname bodyguard. Civilization IV taught the two they should never rule countries that share a border (Luckily they aren't Habsburgs). The only thing Matt loves more than his family are dogs.
