We met in 8th grade at Central Jr. High. We both had the same math class with Coach Temple.

He dated a friend of mine and we also had the same home-room in 8th grade which is where we began to create a friendship!

During Trentons 17th birthday party we picked on each other a lot, constantly flirted while bowling, and then had a long hug before I headed home. The long hug made me start to notice feelings for Trenton that I had been trying to hide from myself for years.

Trenton and I walked together from our cars to Bud Walton Arena where we would graduate. Trenton waited for me after we walked across the stage to officially graduate which I thought was so sweet! He also held my hand to help keep me balanced in high heals while we walked through the grass to find our families after graduation.

After Trenton graduation party he walked me to my car. We talked about how much fun it was to hang out again. We hugged for the longest time and talked about how we should continue to hang out throughout the summer. There was a moment of silence and then Trenton leaned in and kissed me! Of course I kissed him back! He then said “bye” as he took off to his car. I was in so much shock! My best friend had just kissed me?!! I cried the whole way home terrified of ruining our friendship but feeling full of joy for finally know he liked me back after all these years!

Trenton invited me to go watch his dad race in Tulsa. I had never been to a race so I was 100% down to go! Little did I know he was going to ask me to be his girlfriend that night when we got back to Springdale!

Trenton and I went on our first camping trip just the two of us. Trenton wanted us to go on a hike Saturday afternoon to the yellow rock overlook that we love! I wanted pictures of us and our dog HoneyLemon so we took a few. The next thing I know he’s getting down on his knee and pulls out a beautiful ring. He said the sweetest words as I was trying to process everything going on and then I said “YES” to marrying my best friend!❤️
