Some love stories begin with a spark at first sight, but Kailee and Joseph’s unfolded slowly and beautifully over time. Their journey started years ago, as Kailee spent much of her childhood alongside her cousin—and Joseph, who just happened to be his best friend. Fast forward to college years: Kailee moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida. By chance, Joseph reached out as he was moving to the area and transferring to the very same Publix where Kailee worked. To make it even sweeter, he moved into the apartment complex right across the street. From there, their friendship deepened, late-night hangouts turned into laughter-filled moments, and before long, they realized their connection was something more. From car karaoke and ice cream runs to quoting their favorite movies, their relationship thrives on both fun and genuine care. On March 22, 2025, Joseph planned the perfect proposal at Bonnet Springs Park. With roses and a “Marry Me” sign, Joseph got down on one knee by the lake. Family and friends cheered as Kailee said “yes,” making it a moment they’ll remember forever. Now, Kailee and Joseph are planning their May 30th, 2026 wedding, a celebration of a love that grew from friendship into a forever promise.
