A long time ago in a city far, far away... Kailee and Andy were both in a masters program and serving as graduate assistants in the Grand Valley Financial Aid Office. Unbeknownst to Andy, he had caught Kailee’s eye when commiserating about their shared coursework and an accidental interest in physics and space. After a great night out in Grand Rapids with other students in the program, Andy and Kailee were able to have their first of what would become many great nights of playing video games, bar hopping, and Karaoke. Their relationship began a few weeks later when it was Kailee who summoned the courage (or was just doing it for fun) to Snapchat Andy asking him if he was attracted to her. Gallantly, Andy spent 3 hours consulting one of his brothers and everyone in a 15 mile radius before resolutely responding “Yes”. What became a let’s go on a date Friday, was quickly moved up to Wednesday because neither Andy or Kailee wanted to wait a moment longer to see what kind of legs this would have. And the rest is history.
