Matron of Honor
Karissa and I met in third grade through my neighbor, her cousin. We ended up going to the same middle school and have been inseparable since. Despite her move across the country, we talk every day and make trips to visit each other regularly. We have been there for each other through all of life’s milestones thus far and I couldn’t imagine this day without her right next to me.
Matron of Honor
Hannah is also a best friend from middle school. Hannah has been my confidant and voice of reason since the dramatic preteen days. She probably knows me better than I know myself. Hannah has been more like a sister to me and she is also the mother of our ring bearer, Levi.
Bridesmaid
Jasmine and I met in high school. Some of my most fun teenage memories involve Jasmine! We spent a lot of time traveling and learning about ourselves. She is the absolute life of the party and the funniest person I know. She can talk to a wall and is always ready to have fun. Definitely a good person to get stuck on a deserted island with! The Louise to my Thelma, if you will.
Bridesmaid
Taylor is my big sister from our sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. From the moment we met, I could tell how much she would support me and guide me through my time in college. She is incredibly caring and has the sweetest spirit. Her support did not end with college. She continually shows how much she cares by keeping up with my life and encouraging me, even from over 1,000 miles away. She’s always picked me up when I’ve been down and I cannot wait to reunite during all the wedding festivities!
Bridesmaid
Allie and I met freshman year at college through ADPi. I think she spent more nights in my dorm than her own that year. Allie has been there for me through the highs and lows and we have remained close friends through transfers and new cities. Never a dull moment, she has a tendency to bring out my wild side. Even though we can have a little too much fun together, Allie has a special way of corralling everyone together and making a game plan. Just what I need on my wedding day.
Bridesmaid
The girl who gave me the title “Big Sister”. Arianna and I are a little over 7 years apart but very close. She annoys me to no end with her sass and independence (aka 17 going on 25 act) but that’s also what makes me proud of her. Strong-willed, smart-mouthed and full of crazy ideas, she reminds me a lot of myself. Under the tough exterior she has the kindest heart. She’s the one I call for every little minute detail, dilemma or when I’m just plain bored!
Junior Bridesmaid
Emily has been my mini-me since she was old enough to walk and follow me around. She would always steal just one shoe from each pair to run around the house. I think my friends probably liked her more than me (lol). She made her way into my friend group even though she was ten years younger than us. No one minded because she was just so cute. No matter where we were, I could count on her being my sidekick. I can’t believe how fast time has flown and I’m so blessed to be her big sister (and basically twin)!
Junior Bridesmaid
Olivia is one of my youngest sisters. She is smart, independent and a social butterfly. She is oftentimes the glue of our family and very wise for her years. She is the true definition of “my sisters keeper”.
Junior Bridesmaid
Ava is Deven’s niece. She is so smart and works very hard at all she does . She will be a great role model for her cousins one day!
Flower Girl
Amberlyn is my tiniest sis!! She is 5 years old but has enough personality for the whole bridal party! Smart, beautiful and cute as a button, she just may steal the show!
Best Man
Duane is Deven’s oldest brother and has been his best friend from day one. Duane has always been a role model and protector for Deven. Throughout all phases of Deven’s life, Duane has been there to serve as a confidant, supporter, and best friend.
Groomsman
Andrew is Deven’s middle brother and they have always been very close. As Andrew has grown into a young man he has become a constant supporter and voice of reason for Deven. Andrew has grown into someone that Deven respects and looks up to; his academic and athletic achievements are a testament to the man that he is.
Groomsman
Seth is Deven’s youngest brother. As a toddler he was always in Deven’s shadow, closely watching everything Deven did. He followed in Deven’s footsteps, playing football and wrestling in high school. They have remained close, Seth relying on Deven as a mentor and Deven encouraging Seth toward a promising future through work ethic, determination, and drive for success.
Groomsman
Matt and Deven first met on the preschool playground. Matt informed Deven that he couldn’t be in his club because Deven no longer had a mullet. They became buddies and things have gone downhill ever since. Their friendship really started to grow in high school and stands as a definition for the description “through thick and thin”. Matt has been Deven’s closest friend throughout every season of life. Matt is truly part of the family and Deven considers him to be his fourth brother.
Groomsman
Luis and Deven met in high school and became fast friends. Luis quickly made Matt and Deven’s duo into a trio. From high school sports to family vacations, and everything in between, Luis and Deven have considered each other family since the day they met.
