Ashlea is Kailah's brother Matthew's significant other. Over the years that they have spent together, Ashlea has become another sister of Kailah's. Ashlea blends with the family so well that it seems as though she has been there forever.

Jake and Joey grew up playing football together as Pirates. Jake moved down the street from Joey in the 8th grade and this is where they became great friends.

BreAnn has been a part of Kailah's life for as long as she can remember. BreAnn has always been close with Kailah's family and even babysat Kailah when she was a child. When BreAnn moved in with the family in order to attend nursing school, Kailah and BreAnn were able to spend more time together- at least during the time that she wasn't studying!

Chelsea is Joey's sister and Kailah's future sister-in-law. Although Chelsea lives far away, Kailah and Chelsea have always clicked. Chelsea welcomed Kailah into the Zimmerman family with open arms. Kailah couldn't ask for a better sister-in-law.

Nick and Joey went to high school together. A few years after high school, Joey and Nick became roommates and they became very close. Joey knows that he can always count on Nick.
