There's nothing too exciting about when we met - we have known each other for a long time. We met in high school through mutual friends and geographical convenience. The first day we actually spoke, Turner let me drive his pick-up and I decided then that he'd be mine one day. I'm not sure if he wasn't quite on board yet or if I didn't actually tell him (even though I told everyone else). After high school, we didn't stay in touch until I moved back to Bigfork for student teaching. He'd denied me via text the year before, but I somehow convinced him to hang out with me at a party. I remember after inviting him in, I was really nervous that I'd spent years building him up to be this amazing human and being terrified he'd disappoint, but we were the most effortless fiends on the planet from that first night on. We adopted our baby dog Bella a month later, while we were enjoying an awesome year living in my dream house on Caribou Lake. Then a year later, we purchased our perfect-fit farm in Talmoon, where our little family roams free & happy. Turner picked out my ring on his own, with a few prior lessons to bank on. He hid it from me for almost NINE MONTHS before proposing in Duluth on my birthday. His proposal was sweet and perfect. I was so excited I'm not sure if I even let him get the words out. Oops. Now we're here, living our best lives, ready to take the next step in our Happily Every After.
I first met Kaila when we were in high school. I remember thinking how much fun she was to hangout with, and that she was super cute, but always figured that she was way out of my league. I saw her a few times during our college years, with friend groups of course, and remember thinking about how much I liked her every time I was around her. Again, I dismissed the idea because she was wayy to perfect for someone like me! Then randomly Kaila hit me up, expressing her interest in me, and we decided to meet up at the local bar (very romantic I know) and the rest is history! We moved in together not too long after (I know, it was a little fast), and about a year and a half later we bought our first (and hopefully last) home together. Then I decided Kaila was much to perfect to not put a ring on, so I proposed to her in Duluth down by the lake. Her reaction was exactly what I hoped for! We are now happily living our lives awaiting to get married on our own farm, right where we've always wanted to spend the rest of our lives; in the same area we both grew up!
There once was a boy, Turner Ray. Who brightened even the saddest of days. He lived in Bigfork, was a bit of a dork, but Kaila couldn't help but love him anyway. They met at a homecoming parade, when Kaila did her best to persuade. She drove his truck, and with some luck, She hoped his heart, to invade. Four years went by with no contact. Until one night, she decided to act. A short quick text, "I think you're the best" But he insisted her phone had been hacked. I knew all along this would be. The match made in heaven for me. a farm and a pup, a pile of love, and everything I could ever need. So that is the big story how, my dream has became here and now. A kiss on the cheek, An excited squeak, and now you're all here for our vows.
