What should I wear?
Answer
The attire request is dressy casual, but please be sure to wear something that makes you feel comfortable. Sensible shoes are requested as the entire event will take place outside.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Because many of our guests know each other, we have decided not to give all guests plus ones. However, if you do have a plus one, it will be visible when you RSVP.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please arrive no earlier than 3:30 pm and no later than 4:15pm. Refreshments will be provided as you wait for the processional.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Consider this a night off from the kids. The only children in attendance will be the junior bridesmaids, Josh’s two beautiful daughters. Please consider them VIPs.

I have a dietary restriction, can I make a special request?
Answer
Absolutely! We can accommodate vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free diets. Please disclose your restriction either by emailing info@adkins2021.com or by noting it on your RSVP.

Will there be parking?
Answer
Yes, there will be plenty of parking at the location, but carpooling is always welcomed!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
Answer
We are requesting no phones are present at the ceremony. We have TWO wonderful photographers who will be capturing the moment and we want you to be fully present. Please don't ruin the magic by sitting behind a phone screen or a camera lens. However, please snap away the rest of the evening! We encourage guests to post pictures of themselves enjoying the day onto their social media channels. Our only request is that the bride and groom are the first to post a picture of themselves.

Will there be alcohol served?
Answer
Yes, there will be complimentary drinks (rail, beer, and wine) served during the cocktail hour and dinner, and a cash bar open for the remainder of the night.

Can I bring my own alcohol?
Answer
No outside alcohol is allowed.

Are you going on a honeymoon?
Answer
Yes! Just not right away. We would like to take this time to enjoy time with Josh’s family and plan on taking a nice relaxing trip during the winter instead. If you would like to contribute to our honeymoon and fund a snorkeling trip, our bar tab, or a hotel room upgrade, please see the “Registry” tab above.
