We're getting married!

It all started at Newark Airport - because of course, where else does a modern love story begin? Kaila was there to surprise a friend flying in, hanging out near arrivals when Josh, who was working overtime at the airport that day, struck up a conversation. Then another. And another. Over the course of an hour, we kept chatting, and then when he finally had to get back to work, Kaila’s friend landed and it was time to leave. As we waved goodbye from opposite sides of the baggage claim area, neither of us had the guts to ask for a number. Kaila left questioning everything, even wondering if she should turn the Uber around. She declared (while lying on the floor) that she’d just lost her future husband and even messaged missed connection sites, hoping fate would intervene. Meanwhile, Josh was telling his family about “this Australian girl” he met. He searched for “Kaila from Sydney who lives in New York” on Facebook, revisited the city spots he’d recommended to her that day, cos as we know, Josh is a 'big Manhattan guy' ;) Five months later, while looking for a new roommate for her xoxo Gossip Girl Upper East Side apartment, Kaila checked her message requests, and there it was: a message from Josh Goldberg (which you can peep below :) Four days later, we went on our first date. We’ve been inseparable ever since.
