FAQs

Question

When should I Rsvp by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP no later than September 1st 2024

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see all of our loved ones dressed up for our special day! Dress code is Texas Formal. We are also asking everyone to wear all black, to help the Bride, Groom and bridal party stand out! Texas Formal example: Any length dress with boots or heels, any suit with boots or dress shoes. Or a nice black button down with nice jeans and boots. (Rachel highly encourages the use of turquoise jewelry, hehe)

Question

Can I bring my little ones?

Answer

Absolutely! We love everyones kids and would love to have them attend our big day with us! We do request that you do not let your littles roam the farm. With Tate Farms being a working ranch, there are lots of animals and traffic going in and out of the barnyard and we would hate for any kids to be hurt. Ranching never stops! Although, you are more than welcome to use our wedding day as a fun weekend away for you parents!

Question

Will the wedding be inside?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will both be inside air conditioned buildings! You will be outside for a very short time for cocktail hour after the ceremony and before the reception.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Gates to our venue open at 4:00PM. No guests will be allowed to enter prior to this time. The ceremony will begin at 4:30PM. Please aim to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony start time to ensure we can begin on time!

Question

Can we take photos and videos on our phones?

Answer

We respectfully ask that all guests keep their phones and cameras away for the ceremony portion of the night. We invite all of our guests to be fully present with us durning the intimate time we begin our life together. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture the ceremony, and we cannot wait to share these photos with you!

Question

How's parking?

Answer

Although most of you will be flying in and using a ride share (not Uber) or other form of transportation to get to the venue. There is parking on-sight! There will be parking attendants guiding guests to the correct location. Please listen and know they are helping park for yours and others safety. There will be alcohol severed at the Reception, and we do not want anyone on the roads after consuming any drinks. Please have a safe form of transportation home or to your hotel for your safety.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Duh! The drinks are on us but that hangover is on y'all so get ready to celebrate! Please drink responsibly, and DO NOT drive if you consume any alcohol. We want everyone to have fun but most importantly be safe!
