'Til Death Do Us Part

We met in January of 2017 on OKCupid. We matched with 88% in common. We started talking for about a week until we decided to meet in person. Mikey drove for an hour in a snow storm to meet me at the Applebees in Brimfield. We had the most amazing dinner. We both ordered the chicken and potatoes. It went so well, the waitress thought we were already dating. When we went to leave a few hours later, we had the most amazing hug that neither of us wanted to end. Just a few short weeks later and we made it official! We began dating on 2/12/17. Our worlds have never been the same.

On Independence Day, 2019, Mikey got down on one knee as I walked out of the house. He said, "Do me a favor." I said, "What's that?" He replied, "Marry Me." He opened the box to the ring and it glistened in the sunlight. I was blown away. All of our family and friends waiting patiently in the driveway under the canopy. My parents next to me with the biggest grin on their faces. Our beautiful daughter just a few feet away, unknowingly witnessing her parents getting engaged. The day was beautiful, the moment was priceless. Needless to say, I said YES!
