I left my house on a clear Saturday night looking to satisfy my taste for hot wings so I decided to go to Wild Wing Cafe in Lexington for a change of scenery. Do you know that darn GPS took me to some other wing joint that I did not want ?!! I pulled in a space, backed out, pulled back in cause why not, but then I pulled out and headed to get what I really wanted. I decided on the closest location in the Vista. I get there, sit at the bar and proceed to mind my own business. Next thing I know, this guy (yes, he was cute af) comes in and sits at the bar three empty seats away from me and right in my field of vision to the tv I was watching. Well, looking aimlessly at it periodically, but he doesn't need to know that it wasn't my favorite show on at that exact time. So my food comes, I'm eating and like a toddler I rub my face and get hot sauce in my eye. He tells me he knows those wings aren't that hot and I turn to him and laugh. He smiled and I fell in like. I smiled and kinda knew that he was destined to fall in love in with me. He moves closer, we talk more, I finished eating and he decided he was done too. He wanted to keep talking to me, I wanted to keep talking to him so we went for a walk around the State House. The police were there, a racoon jumped out, and he reached for my hand for the first time. Three years later I still like talking to him and I never want to stop holding his hand!
