Aspen Meadows Resort is where our ceremony and reception will take place—so staying here is the easiest and most convenient option! The resort has a great restaurant and bar, beautiful hiking trails, and even tennis and pickleball courts. There’s also a free shuttle to and from downtown Aspen (about a 5-minute drive). We are reserving a room block, so we recommend booking early to stay close to the action once the block is available!

The Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) is just 10 minutes from downtown and the easiest option if you can fly in directly. It’s a small airport with seasonal direct flights from cities like Denver, Dallas, and Houston on United, American, or Delta. Summer schedules can vary, so book early. Pro tip: the mountain winds like to show off in the afternoons, which can cause delays—so if you’re flying into ASE (especially trying to make a connection) , we recommend morning or evening arrivals for the least drama (unless you enjoy a little turbulence and stress with your travel).
Flight
The Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is located just outside of Vail and about 1.5 hours from Aspen by car. This is another great option and easy to get to! You’ll find service from United, American, Delta, and Frontier.
Flight
Another option is Grand Junction Regional Airport (GJT), about a two-hour drive from Aspen. Major airlines like Delta, United, and American fly here, offering flexible travel choices. From Grand Junction, you can rent a car or take a shuttle, and either way, the drive up to Aspen is a beautiful way to start the trip.
Flight
Denver International Airport (DEN) is about a 3.5-hour drive from Aspen and might be your best bet if you want the most flight options—think United, Southwest, American, Delta, Frontier, Spirit, Alaska, and more. Denver’s got tons of rental car choices like Budget, Avis, Hertz, and even Turo if you want something a little different. Renting a car here gives you all the freedom to explore Colorado at your own pace. Just a heads-up though—the drive is long and twists through the mountains, so if you get carsick easily, maybe pack some ginger candy or consider another option.
Travel Note
If renting a car isn’t your thing, there are several great shuttle services that run between Eagle, GJ and Denver to Aspen. We recommend using Epic Mountain Express.
Travel Note
Aspen has a free and super easy bus system (RFTA) that runs throughout town, to Snowmass, and even to the airport. It’s clean, reliable, and often way better than trying to Uber. Buses run frequently during the day and into the evening, and most routes run every 10–15 minutes. It’s honestly one of our favorite ways to get around Aspen!
Travel Note
May is the end of shoulder season so taxi drivers are just coming back to work so they may be few and far between but it's still a great way to get around. If you are not renting a car you can schedule ahead to have them drop you off at the airport for your flight back home!

Renting an Airbnb/VRBO is also an option. Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt and Carbondale are all great locations to try and rent if you're looking for a home option or want to stay somewhere as a bigger group!
