Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, we aren't trying to sound picky, but since the ceremony is on the beach, we ask you to wear resort wear/beach formal but be comfortable at the same time. We also ask you to refrain from wearing ALL white, & ALL blue (any shades of blue) As blues are the wedding colors and you'll blend in with the bridal party and centerpieces 🤣 we will also be outdoors and it may be a little chilly so please bring a light jacket just incase. We apologize for the inconvenience. You can message Christina or Kai if you have any questions/issues regarding this.

Are kid's welcome?

Answer

Of course especially since everyone will be traveling far, we do not expect you to be far away from them. We just politely ask for the kid's to be on their best behavior at all times. We will have a kid's table as well where they can color and be kept busy. At our sister resort, there is a Waterpark.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You are more than welcome to bring a plus one! it'll be an option on your invitation(s) we just ask you to please not bring more than 1 person unless their specifically invited as we are paying for the food in the amount of people invited.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

After the Ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures. All guests can arrive to cocktail hour as their will be appetizers and drinks. Reception will be starting at 7pm and ending at 11pm! What we will be doing after?? who knows 😝 we will figure that out.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

As much as we'd appreciate gifts, we rather see everyone's faces more. We have been living together for awhile and have everything that we want. If you must give us something, we are allowing cash donations to get our dream home within the next year or 2 💕 You can Venmo or Zelle Christina, or we can take cash or checks the day of the wedding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 5:30PM. We are asking everyone to start seating at 5pm. if you are flying in that day, give yourselves enough time 😊

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We encourage everyone staying at the Reef Playacar Resort & Spa where the wedding will be taking place. However there are 2 other sister locations if you need/want to stay there. The prices on rooms fluctuate so we suggest booking your room(s) asap once you know you will be coming 😁

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We would be getting free airport shuttle to and from the airport for everyone that flies in.

Do we need to be vaccinated?

Answer

Whether you are vaccinated or not, we still want to see you. However, when it gets closer to the big day and you get sick, have been exposed, etc. We highly recommend you just staying home to stay safe and make everyone else stay safe 🙏

What if we RSVP but have to cancel?

Answer

We will miss you but we understand things happen. If you need to cancel by any means, please try to let us know a couple of weeks before.

Can I take pictures/videos of the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking to be an unplugged ceremony. We don't want other people to miss out on hearing & seeing everything going on. We will have plenty of photographers capturing the moments. Any pictures you take at the reception, please upload it to social media accounts and use hashtag #OnceUponAGrimmett so we can see it!

What day do I need to fly in?

Answer

We would like everyone to be there on Friday October 14th as we are doing some fun things with everyone. But if you need to fly in Saturday morning then we highly suggest flying in early 😀
