Think cocktail party meets backyard concert. We’re having a relaxed, indoor-outdoor evening at Coriander Kitchen & Farm in Detroit—complete with a live band, cocktails, and heavy hors d'oeuvres (no formal sit-down dinner). Come ready to mingle and dance your way through the night!
Cocktail attire, but nothing too stiff. Dresses, jumpsuits, slacks + blazers—whatever helps you feel festive and fabulous. Bonus points for comfortable shoes (you’ll be on your feet a lot!).
Not a formal one! We'll have plenty of hearty appetizers and cocktails, so come hungry, but don’t expect a sit-down meal. It’s more of a lively, graze-and-dance kind of evening.
Check your invitation or RSVP—if you’re not sure, just ask us! We’re excited to celebrate with all our favorite people (and their favorite people too, in many cases!).
We recommend checking out Airbnbs or hotels in the following areas: - Grosse Pointe or St. Clair Shores (quieter suburbs on the water, about 20–25 minutes from Detroit) - Downtown Detroit, Indian Village or near Wayne State University (closer to the action and the venue) - Royal Oak, Ferndale, or Berkley (a bit farther out, but great neighborhoods with restaurants and shops) Not sure if your Airbnb is in a good spot? Reach out to Ben or Kahliah before booking! Detroit has a lot of character, and neighborhoods can vary block to block—they’re happy to help make sure you land in a great spot.
If you're staying outside of downtown, yes—driving is usually the easiest way to get around. Uber and Lyft can work, especially for the wedding night, but having your own wheels will make the weekend smoother. Plus, parking is generally easy at the venue and around town.
Your presence is the best gift, truly—but if you’d like to send something our way, we’ve set up a registry through Zola. You can check it out on the "registry" tab of this website or directly at this link (link to our registry page). Thank you so much!
