We're Getting Married!!

We met through a friend - even though we graduated high school together! How crazy is that?? We roamed the halls passing each other but never had the chance to get to know each other due to not having classes together. Years later after we graduated I was dropping off one of our mutual friends to meet Nathan to catch a ride. After a few days went by Nathan ended up reaching out to me through Facebook Messenger (because, lets be honest no one uses texting anymore!). We hit it off right away and found out we had lots in common. From that day forward Nathan and I have been talking every day and couldn't picture our lives without each other. We both used to wish and pray for a love like the love we have now. Great things come to those who wait and THAT is exactly what happened with Nathan and I. :]

Nathan and I got engaged on June 11, 2018 while we were on vacation at Nathan's family beach house in Southern Shores, NC. We had perfect weather the entire time we were there! We decided one of the days to go to Carolla, NC and see the light house as well as maybe some wild ponies. I found this awesome trail to walk through that was more like a board walk. When you enter into the trail there is a gate you open and it turns into this beautiful path. We weaved in and out through the woods all the way to the end. When we reached the end it over looked the water. With nothing but water and grass as far as you could see. I was looking out over the edge into the water when Nathan asked me to turn around. When I turned around he was on one knee reaching for my hand with a ring in the other. He explained how much he loved me and how he couldn't ever picture a day not loving me or making sure that I am happy. :] I am beyond the luckiest girl in the world to marry my soulmate. We are super excited to share this day with you all! We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces! Don't forget to bring the tissues! See you there!!
