WE'RE GETTING MARRIED!

Laura's younger sister, Emily, worked with Brent at Suttle Motors. Emily and Brent worked together for a while and eventually Emily told Brent, "You should date my sister." Emily got permission from Laura to give Brent her number and they started texting. After two weeks, they met up at Saisake in Newport News and had dinner in July 2019. Brent talked the whole date and Laura thought to herself, "there is no way he is into me." That was not the case. They kept talking and hanging out together every week. They played Dance Central together at Brent's house and saw the The Lion King in theaters. October came and they shared the excitement of Halloween and dressing up for their party. Two years later, Laura moved into Brent's home. In April 2024, Brent decided they should take a weekend trip to Luray. The cabin was deep in the mountains and had a patio with a beautiful view of the range. Brent cooked dinner and they made smores together before he got down on one knee. He was shivering from being outside in the chilly air and asked, "Will you keep me warm for the rest of our lives?" Laura, of course, said "yes!"
