Waaaay back in 2016, Ridge and I both worked at the Hilton Portland - me at the host stand of the hotel restaurant and him at valet. I remember seeing Ridge walk across the lobby, walking back to the valet stand, and thinking, "there's not supposed to be island guys here. . . I thought I was safe!" Later one shift, when I went to drop my bank, I saw him and asked, "hey, are you Ridge?" In very Ridge-fashion, he responded, "who's asking??" After being "just friends" for a time and introducing our kids, did we decide to make it official on November 8, 2017. Over the years, we've blended our family through life's daily adventures - the kids sporting events, our bowling leagues, days at the lake, weekend game nights. We've created some of our favorite memories on our family vacations or much needed couples getaways. In 2024, we stamped our first adventure overseas together in Japan, returning as an engaged couple. With a bit of pressure, eight and a half years later, it is with all the love in my heart and great privilege to respond to his initial question of, "who's asking," with, "your soon-to-be WIFE."
