What do I wear?

Answer

This celebration will take place outdoors by the water. We invite you to dress in a polished, upscale Southern style. For men: Dress slacks, khakis, or linen trousers paired with a tailored dress shirt in muted or pastel tones. A blazer or sport coat is encouraged for a classic Southern look. For women: Midi or maxi dresses in refined silhouettes featuring soft florals, pastels, or elegant muted tones such as blush, sage, soft blue, or champagne. Please note the venue surface may be uneven; we recommend stylish yet comfortable footwear. Kindly avoid sneakers, flip-flops, jeans, cargo-style pants, neon colors, dark brown, and white. Cowboy boots and hats are warmly welcomed and perfectly on theme.

When should we arrive?

Answer

We ask that guests arrive at 5:30 to allow for time to park and enter the venue. We hope that people will arrive early enough to partake in the cocktail hour beverages and hors d'oeuvres, and take time to get settled at the venue.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on the invitation attend. Due to the intimate nature of our venue and limited seating, we’re unfortunately unable to accommodate additional guests. While we love your little ones, we ask that our wedding be an adults-only event so everyone can relax and enjoy the evening with us!

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Weaver’s lake house on Douglas Lake. The address will be shared upon RSVP.
