Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30. We kindly ask that you arrive to the Jewel Box between 2:00-2:15 so that all guests are seated for the ceremony.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We're asking our guests to dress in semi-formal/cocktail attire. Cocktail dresses, evening dresses, sundresses, casual suits, slacks, button-downs, and sports coats (ties or no ties) are all perfect for our wedding. You'll likely feel underdressed in jeans and t-shirts, and overdressed in a full tuxedo :) If in doubt, don't hesitate to reach out to and ask!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

We love your children, but due to space and venue restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 18 on our wedding day. Thank you for understanding!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Where can I park at the ceremony and recpeption?

Answer

Street parking will be available in Forest Park for the ceremony: We recommend parking on Wells Drive or McKinley Drive. Street parking will also be available for the Reception: We ask that all guests park on 39th street which runs along the East side of Wild Carrot. 39th street provides free parking and is non-residential.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

We have discounted hotel room blocks reserved at the Courtyard in Brentwood, and the Le Meridian in Clayton. Please see the "Travel" tab for links to our booking sites!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will take place indoors! Cocktail hour will be held outside on the patio, weather permitting.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

There will be no formal transportation provided to the ceremony or reception. Both venues are within 10 minutes of each other, so we recommend taking an Uber, Lyft, or carpooling! There is plenty of parking at both locations, if you choose to drive.

What should I do in-between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We encourage you to use the time in-between the ceremony and reception to grab a lite bite to eat, explore STL, or relax/regroup! Please see the "things to do" tab of our website for a list of fun things to see in the area, and some of our favorite restaurants and bars!

Question

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We’ll be serving light snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert! We will have an open bar stocked with beer, wine, cocktails, and mocktails!
