When and where is the wedding taking place?
Answer
The wedding will be held on August 18th, 2025 at Castello Bevilacqua in Verona, Italy. We will be hosting events leading up to the wedding for our favorite travelers!

When should we plan to arrive and depart?
Answer
We recommend arriving at least 2-3 days before the wedding to adjust to the time difference and enjoy the area! Many guests plan to extend their travel and explore the surrounding regions or countries, which we highly recommend. We plan to travel from August 10th to 20th, so please reach out if you would like to see our itinerary!

What is the dress code?

We invite you to dress your best for our castle wedding. The dress code is formal, please see the inspiration page for examples of dress!

What will the weather be like?
Answer
In August, the weather in Italy is sunny and hot! Highs range in the 84-86°F, and lows dip to 66–68°F.

What airport should I fly into?
Answer
The closest major airports are Venice Marco Polo (VCE) and Milan Malpensa (MXP), or you could fly directly into Verona Villafranca (VRN). We suggest comparing routes and prices based on your departure city.

Do I need a passport or visa to travel to Italy?
Answer
Yes, you will need a passport, and make sure that it is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. If you’re traveling from the U.S., Canada, or most European countries, a visa isn’t required for stays under 90 days.

How should we get from the airport to the venue or hotel?
Answer
You can take a private transfer, taxi, or train depending on your arrival city. If you plan to meet us in Venice, we will provide transportation to Verona on the day of the rehersal dinner. We will also provide transportation from the hotel to the venue on the day of the wedding. We’ll share additonal recommended transfer options closer to the date.

Are children welcome?
Answer
Please check your invitation to see who is included on your guest list. We love your families, but we’re keeping our celebration limited to the guests named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Can I drive in Italy?
Answer
Yes, you can rent a car! Please note that you will need to get an international drivers license prior to leaving the US. You can do this easily at any AAA location, and the fee is $20.

What currency is used in Italy?
Answer
Euros (€). Credit cards are widely accepted, but it’s handy to have some cash for taxis, cafes, or smaller shops.
