Hang Loose Boat Tours is the company we will be booking our Manta Ray Snorkeling tour through. They provide wet suits, flippers, and the float for the snorkeling. To snorkel with the manta rays it is $112.50 per person. If snorkeling with the mantas is not your speed that is totally okay! They do offer ride along pricing, where you can ride on the boat to the snorkel spot but can view these majestic creatures from the boat.
Watch the sunset above the clouds! 4WD is mandatory to go to the top. Farmers markets can be found all around the island. Fresh fruit can be found there along with souvenirs. P.S. mangosteens are delicious
There are live bands here that play throughout the week and they have good food and yummy beer.
We would love to experience a lu'au with our family and friends, this is the show that we have selected to go to. They have various packages that fit the needs of each group. For more information and booking please go to the website listed.
Fingers crossed Kilauea has an episode while we are there! We obsessively watch the website and live stream of the volcano, so will let everyone know about an upcoming episode the week of. There is hiking throughout the entire park and hiking trails around the crater, if there is not an episode in progress there are trails that lead down into the crater.
Downtown Kona is beautiful and has many options for dining, shopping, and different beaches.
This little town is on the other side of the island, but is a different vibe than Kona or Holualoa. More rainforest!
