Hang Loose Boat Tours

Kailua-Kona, HI 96740

Hang Loose Boat Tours is the company we will be booking our Manta Ray Snorkeling tour through. They provide wet suits, flippers, and the float for the snorkeling. To snorkel with the manta rays it is $112.50 per person. If snorkeling with the mantas is not your speed that is totally okay! They do offer ride along pricing, where you can ride on the boat to the snorkel spot but can view these majestic creatures from the boat.

Mauna Kea

HI 96720

Watch the sunset above the clouds! 4WD is mandatory to go to the top. After sunset park rangers will have people drive back down to base camp where you can freely star gaze from the visitor center and your car. There are star gazing tour available online, they start at $320 for a group. A group can host 14 people.

Heavenly Hawaiian Kona Coffee Farm Tours

78-1136 Bishop Road, Holualoa, HI 96725

Our favorite coffee farm. We will be going here for a tour with family and friends; tours start at $27 per person.

Farmers Market

Farmers markets can be found all around the island. Fresh fruit can be found there along with souvenirs. P.S. mangosteens are delicious

Kona Pub and Brewery

There are live bands here that play throughout the week and they have good food and yummy beer.

Island Breeze Lu'au

75-5660 Palani Rd, Kailua Kona, HI 96740

We would love to experience a lu'au with our family and friends, this is the show that we have selected to go to. They have various packages that fit the needs of each group. For more information and booking please go to the website listed.

Kona Cloud Forest Sanctuary

73-1865 Hao Street, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, HI 96785

Fingers crossed Kilauea has an episode while we are there! We obsessively watch the website and live stream of the volcano, so will let everyone know about an upcoming episode the week of. There is hiking throughout the entire park and hiking trails around the crater, if there is not an episode in progress there are trails that lead down into the crater.

Holualoa Village

74-4944 Mamalahoa Highway, Holualoa, HI 96725

Kailua-Kona

Kailua-Kona, HI

Downtown Kona is beautiful and has many options for dining, shopping, and different beaches.

Hilo

Hilo, HI 96720

This little town is on the other side of the island, but is a different vibe than Kona or Holualoa. More rainforest!
