Our story begins with a right swipe. We met on a dating app. Once we got the "it's a match" notification, Ben immediately messaged Kaelynn. We went back and forth a few times but when the conversation stopped, Ben reached out again weeks later saying "Kaelynn, I'm not giving up on you that easy! I'd love to still get to know you." She replied, and a few months after matching, we had our first date. Ben impressed Kaelynn with front row seats to the Arizona Diamondbacks game behind the home dugout. The date went very well and we had our second date the next day at the Phoenix Mercury game. We quickly realized how much we loved spending time together. We had many shared interests and both felt as if we had known each other much longer than we had. Ben was not really looking to date at the time and was very focused on his career, and Kaelynn had walls put up to protect herself from heartbreak. However, God's timing is perfect and He knew just what we needed, each other. We are so thankful God brought a small town Minnesota boy and a California girl together in the desert. We have shared many amazing experiences together and have supported each other through some challenging times. We are so excited to start our lives together as husband and wife and cannot wait to celebrate with you on our special day.
