We started 'talking' (an ambiguous term used as a college student to define the phase that comes before dating) the fall of our junior year. What started as game nights with all our roommates shortly turned into many one-on-one hangouts at Dunkin (our first official date being Moe's Southwest Grill). We officially started dating on January 16th, 2020. After just a few short months of officially dating, Covid struck! Everyone at Bucknell was forced to leave campus and we had to decide if we were going to continue our new relationship despite all the unknown. To this day, we will never forget sitting in the McDonald's parking lot drinking shamrock shakes (while Kaelyn was nervously crying in Peter's car)...and when asked if we should stay together, Peter replied, "I guess we'll try." From that moment forward...we have been together for six amazing years and counting! After our senior year together at Bucknell, we entered the 'long distance' phase of life. We both pursued our master's degrees and had a bonus year to play the sports we loved — Peter headed off to Georgetown University while Kaelyn was off to Ohio Univeristy. We then began building our careers — one of us in Boston, MA, and the other in Darien, CT. After three (long) years of distance, we finally made it to the same city — Stamford, CT. On May 10th, 2025, we celebrated the surprise of a lifetime — an engagement surrounded by both of our families in Stamford. It was a moment we’ll cherish forever! Now, we’re counting down the days until May 22nd, 2027, when we get to return to the place where it all began in Lewisburg, PA!
