For those who don't know, we first met in high school and began dating in January of 2010. Over the following years, Matt studied at St. Bonaventure and SUNY Cortland before moving to Syracuse in 2013, while Kaelyn finished up her degree at Syracuse University. Today, we both still live and work in the Syracuse area where we love to cook, hike, watch Game of Thrones and eat at Dinosaur BBQ. Most recently we've moved in together, beaten cancer, drank far too much coffee, added a very special puppy to the mix and most importantly - we got engaged!

Our engagement story is simple and sweet. We had planned a week-long vacation to Walt Disney World, where on our last night an unofficial event called "Dapper Day" was taking place at Epcot. The event celebrates the tradition of "stepping out in style," and everyone dons amazing vintage clothing. We had a dinner reservation at Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot's Moroccan pavilion, but beforehand we decided to grab drinks at the Boardwalk Resort. Matt said he wanted to take a picture in our Dapper Day outfits, grabbed someone nearby to capture the moment, and the rest is history! Over the years we've accomplished a lot - growing with each other every step of the way. We can't wait to celebrate the life and love we share with all of you!
