Is there a dress code?

Answer

We are requesting guests dress in Winter Semi-Formal Attire. Velvets, furs, and elegant warm clothes in winter colors. Wear layers! - Our ceremony will be outdoors, but our reception will be held indoors.

Is there lodging nearby?

Answer

There are over 100 cabins and hotels within 10 minutes of The Magnolia Wedding Venue. Please refer to the Lodging and Travel tab for more information.

How do we get to the venue on the wedding date?

Answer

There is no parking available at the venue. The Magnolia offers a shuttle service that will run to a nearby parking location and select lodging. It will begin an hour before the ceremony and run until the reception's end. Please refer to the Lodging and Travel tab for more information.

Are kids and plus ones welcome?

Answer

All persons invited will appear on your invitation and RSVP. Due to space and occupancy restrictions, we cannot accommodate more guests than those that are listed.

What food will be offered at the reception?

Answer

An appetizer will be served during the cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony. The main course will consist of a southern barbecue buffet with sides. A dessert bar with multiple options will be offered in place of a traditional wedding cake.

What drinks will be offered?

Answer

Drinks will be served from our cocktail hour through the end of reception. There will be an open bar with beer and wine options. Water, tea, lemonade, coffee, and hot chocolate will also be served.

Am I allowed to take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking any photos or videos during the ceremony. We want our guests to be present with us.
