Kaelyn and Dan befriended each other in 2009 in Boulder, Colorado. They were introduced by a mutual friend, bonded over snowboarding and grew together as best friends throughout the years. After 10 years of friendship, and 10 years of Dan moving all of Kaelyn's belongings from house to house each time she moved, Dan finally realized that she was the person who he wanted to be with. All it took was a love confession from Dan and Kaelyn was immediately in.

In the midst of a pandemic, Kaelyn & Dan seemed to shine some light with the announcement of their engagement. A few months later they had the pleasure of announcing that Pepper Anne would be joining the party soon too. On December 16th, 2020 Pepper made her grand appearance and was perfect in every way possible. Dan, Kaelyn and Uma are so in love with their little girl and can not wait for you all to meet her!
