We met during the summer of 2011 at Yogi Bear Campground in Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin. It was a typical camping weekend with a casual gathering of our camping friends. Ryan and I were introduced through a mutual friend where we played an intense game of bags (also referred to as cornhole toss). Kaeli claims Ryan was so in awe of her beauty, that he was rather shy when she tried to strike up a conversation. Ryan claims he was playing the classic game of hard to get. Many campground dances, golf cart rides, and Saturday nights by the campfire later, they knew they were meant to be!

Ryan and Kaeli have always shared an equal love for nature and the outdoors. So they created a life goal of visiting every national park in the United States. In August of 2017, Ryan surprised Kaeli with a trip to Isle Royale National Park (located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan). This would be the very first national park that either of them would visit. Ryan knew nothing would be more special than to pop the question in such a beautiful location. Isle Royale will forever hold a place in their hearts.
