Mother and Father of the Bride: Linda and Jeffrey Oberman Mother and Father of the Groom: Sheila and Dennis Romsey Ian and Kaeli have decided to forgo a traditional wedding party since the wedding invite list has ranged from 10-110 based on Covid allowances. They would however, like to give a shout out to some significant people in their lives who are honorary wedding party members:

Dane Oberman

Officiant

Kaeli’s younger brother and best friend. Who better to officiate giving her away than the guy who’s been trying to get rid of her all his life! We’re looking forward to hearing Dane’s way with words coupled with his theatric nature come to life for our beautiful ceremony.

Buddy Isbell

Honorary Flower Girl

Buddy and Kaeli met in college through the Greek system. Their mutual love of sarcasm, 90’s pop music and adult beverages made them fast and forever friends.

Marissa Oslund

Honorary Bridesmaid

Marissa and Kaeli met in 7th grade and bonded over a mutual crush on their government teacher. They have been inseparable ever since- living together for 3 years in college and 3 years post college, pre-Ian. Somewhere along the lines they became known as “The Pookies” and have been living their lives as the odd couple ever since.

Margie Papa

Honorary Bridesmaid

Margie and Kaeli met through Marissa on Margie’s 18th birthday. Though Margie and Kaeli’s friendship has been long distance for most of their adult lives, that hasn’t come between their close bond. Their weekly phone calls are the highlight of Kaeli’s evenings; and their times together are always fun-filled and cherished memories.

Michael Illies

Honorary Bridesmaid

Michael is Kaeli’s longest friendship, they go back over 25 years! The girls met through their mother’s friendship and continued on the tradition. These sisters can be seen frolicking around Excelsior together, every now and again. Michael is also making the invitations for the wedding.

Kaitlin Romsey

Honorary Groomswoman

Kaitlin is Ian’s younger sister. They spent many fond years growing up together in the countryside of small town Iowa. Kaitlin is an accomplished artist who is currently continuing her education to pursue a degree in the medical field, while working full time.
