Kassie is super ecstatic to earn the title of MATRON of Honor, as she is marrying Ryan's best friend and groomsman, Mason, a month before Kaele and Ryan tie the knot! Kassie has been a go-to for Kaele since Junior High and even more so throughout the years (maybe slightly partly because of Mason and Ryan's parallel friendship, but we won't let that go to their heads). Kaele couldn't be more thankful for such a long-distance rock to be a voice of love, reason, and support for whatever is going on.
Kyle Schneider
Best Man
Ryan’s Best Man is his oldest brother, Kyle. Kyle and his wife, Amy, looked out for Ryan during his college years when they all lived in Columbus. Now that they both live in different states, you can catch them on an annual ski trip together shredding the slopes. Anyone who watches Ryan long enough recognizes that he tries to be just like his big brother (check back and see if Kaele and Ryan have a golden doodle in a year). Ryan admires Kyle’s strong work ethic and ambition.
Carly Lyman
Maid of Honor
If you hear Kaele calling for "Marrz Bar" at some point in the night, go find her Maid of Honor for her! Best friends since first grade, Carly and Kaele grew up glued to the telephone and having sleepovers (including the time Kaele showed up for Carly’s birthday sleepover on the WRONG NIGHT and instead of embarrassing Kaele she invited everyone over for that night instead - a true friend or what?!). Their friendship has blossomed timeless dance moves, the best inside jokes and stories, and has continued to be the perfect ratio of practical and "who knows what's going to happen next!”
Stiv Schneider
Groomsman
Ryan’s second in line is his older brother, Stiv. Growing up, Stiv got the pleasure of "babysitting" his younger brother more of the time, which usually meant raising hell in the form of playing video games together, paint balling, and helping Ryan and his friends make videos doing stupid things. Par for the course, when they’re both home now, you’ll find them old school wrestling in the living room. (Let’s all hope they keep their hands to themselves on the big day!)
Ashley Gaur
Bridesmaid
Ashley and Kaele were college roommates for three out of the four years (but it basically felt like four) at Cal Poly, SLO. Kaele reached out to Ashley on a whim the summer before their freshman year and has been smothering her with love ever since. Highlights include dates to Denny's, beer floats, light philosophy discussions, trips down the hill to 7/11, kayaking in a swamp, becoming experts (failures?) at public transportation, and many, many, MANY nights of endless homework over the four years.
Mason Schneider

Don’t let the last name fool you, Mason and Ryan are not brothers, but their dorky side-by-side 8th grade yearbook photos really makes you wish they were! Mason and Ryan became friends during youth and high school football, mostly by playing the same position - bench warmer. Their off-the-field friendship grew into Mason and Ryan doing homework together at Mason's house (aka playing video games and hanging out with Jake Causey). Since then, they've remained close while attending different colleges and being states away from each other.
Brooke Reinke
Bridesmaid
Brooke and Kaele's undying love for all things musicals has kept their bond strong for two decades. If they had it their way, the entire wedding reception playlist would be Broadway hits (but don't worry, they won't do that to you all!). Growing up, Kaele spent a lot of time at Brooke's house trying on makeup and clothes, consuming Mountain Dew, telling scary stories and secrets, and getting into a couple of things they probably shouldn't have. Brooke has always been the BEST one-woman hype crew and a perfect "pillow" to lean on.
Frank Ryan
Groomsman
Frank and Ryan were roommates for four years at Ohio State, three of which they SHARED a room. So if there’s someone out there who knows way too much about Ryan, it’s probably this guy. You could say they've always shared a bond over learning and creating new things. "Rigging up x, y, and z" has always been a baseline phrase to their friendship and as an outsider to their conversations, you don't know whether to roll your eyes or be impressed. As a final note, be sure to catch Frank out on the dance floor creating his own circle.
Maddie Hilleary
Bridesmaid
Maddie and Kaele have always joked that they became best friends in Junior High because they were opposites. They somehow always found how to make a situation the most entertaining (except for the time they decided to eat straight sugar... or the time Maddie ran up High Street hill with Kaele's shoes and Kaele continued to chase her). Running kept their friendship strong from cross country through track season. (Maddie even played a part in how Ryan got Kaele's number for the first time at a track practice!)
Colin Ridgeway
Groomsman
Segway from Shannon’s intro, we know that Colin and Ryan were roommates at THE end of their college sagas. Memories include three years of Ohio State football game seats, including one national championship, many pregames, and countless times sitting on the couch ragging on Shannon. Colin also shares the tech / engineering mindset of the rest of their crew, an example being the time they hung a TV, decided it was too small, and ended up concluding it was in their best long-run financial interest to return it and get a bigger one.
Shannon Ryan
Bridesmaid
Shannon, Ryan, and Colin became roommates during Ryan's last semester of college and they all continued living together while Ryan started working full-time and Shannon and Colin were in grad school. As far as Kaele's concerned, that apartment of boys needed someone like Shannon, especially to keep Kaele in the loop of all of their day to day antics. It didn't take too long thereafter for Shannon and Kaele to bond over the boys in their lives that drive them nuts. As a final note, be sure to watch Shannon shaking her head at her husband, Frank, after he develops his own dance circle.
Ike Snapp
Groomsman
Ike is the brother of the bride! While Ike, Ryan, and many of Ryan's other groomsmen are all graduates of the same high school class, Ike really got to know Ryan as "the guy my sister still seems to be going out with." Since then, Ike has become a big fan of Ryan’s dry humor and a bigger fan of how much he cares for his sister. Ryan is truly excited to add another brother to his current mix.
Garrett Keifer
Groomsman
Garrett started attending Ohio State post serving in the military. Both Garrett and Ryan majored in Computer Science & Engineering and spent time working out together during the years their time in Columbus overlapped. (So between all the video gaming, there was a little homework help and productivity in there.) They continue to stay close today playing video games with the rest of their friends.
