Andrew planned a trip to visit his childhood friend, Alex, and his fiancé, Carson, in Bend, Oregon in May 2022. Andrew's friends were newly engaged and suggested they "wanted engagement photos taken".  Alex and Carson asked Rachel to take some engagement photos of them.  The four went to Benham Falls to hike down to the waterfall for photos. Andrew proposed while hiking down in a beautiful forest with the waterfall nearby.
