Question

HOW & WHEN SHOULD I RSVP?

Answer

To RSVP, please click the RSVP tab here on our website and type in your name. All invited guests in your party will appear here to mark as "attending" or "declining". Please RSVP before September, 1st 2024. All RSVPs received after this date will be marked as declining; we will be sending a final headcount to our vendors following this deadline.

Question

WHERE WILL THE WEDDING BE TAKING PLACE?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at Red Oak Valley. Address: 3725 MO-19 Owensville, MO 65066

Question

CAN I BRING A GUEST?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests. Due to limited capacity at our venue, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. All invited members of your party will appear in the RSVP form. We look forward to celebrating with our closest friends and family!

Question

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 4pm on Saturday, October 19th. We recommend you aim to arrive by no earlier than 3:30PM and no later than 3:50PM to comfortably arrive on time.

Question

WHERE DO WE PARK?

Answer

Please park in the main parking lot at the white venue at Red Oak Valley. You will not miss the main parking lot when pulling in. 2 venues sit on this property, turn left when you pull in the main entrance to get to the white venue.

Question

CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Answer

While we love your kids, the venue does have limited capacity. Invitations will be specific and include the names of the children who have been invited. However, we do encourage you to use this evening as a fun "night out" for yourselves!

Question

WILL THE WEDDING BE OUTSIDE?

Answer

No, the ceremony and reception will both take place indoors. But, the cocktail hour will take place outside in the courtyard in between the two buildings, 4PM to 5PM. At the white venue, there are two buildings. The first building is where the reception will take place and will be open to our guests at 5:30PM to find your seats before dinner takes place at 6PM. The last building is the chapel, and where our wedding ceremony will take place. Doors will open at 3:30PM and the wedding will start at 4PM.

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

This is a formal event and we would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! The dress code is Black-Tie Encouraged. We ask that all of our guests wear formal BLACK attire.

Question

WHAT DOES "BLACK-TIE ENCOURAGED" MEAN?

Answer

"Black-Tie Encouraged" means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (an evening gown or tuxedo) Generally, a black-tie encouraged dress code means that the couple and their wedding party will be dressed in black tie. It's therefore courteous for guests to reflect this level of formality in their attire. Ladies: Black formal midi dresses, black full length dresses, or black pant suits. Men: Black Suits, Black dress shirt with tie, or black tuxedos. Please do not wear colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride. Ex: white, ivory, champagne, cream, etc. No sneakers, short dresses, cargo pants, or shorts. We have also put an outfit inspiration tab on our website. Please reach out if you have any questions.
