No, we firmly believe that people should be called their preferred names. Please respect this and call us Kae and Tony, instead of our legal names except when legally necessary, unless permission is explicitly granted.
RSVP must be in by June 1, 2025, which is just over 60 days before the wedding. This allows us to solidify our dinner plans and reservations. If you are not RSVP'd by June 1, 2025, we will assume you are unable to attend and your invitation is forfeit. We understand that life happens though. If you do RSVP, and something happens last minute where you can not attend, please reach out so we can accommodate plans differently.
Yes! There is free on site parking.
At this time we cannot provide transportation between events.
Florida is hot and possibly rainy in August. Wear what you are going to be comfortable in that is still on the formal side. We intend on all festivities to be indoors except for transportation between events. We encourage you to bring out your favorite fall colors, and embrace a bit of a spooky feel. We ask you avoid deeper purples and silver/mid-tone grey clothing. Please see the dress code tab for inspiration.
Unfortunately we are limited in numbers. If your RSVP does not include additional people, we can not accommodate them.
At this time, our guest list is exclusively 18+. We will not be able to accommodate childcare.
If you would like to give a monetary gift, we can take a physical check, or electronically through Venmo, PayPal, cash app, or Facebook pay via messenger. Venmo: KaeBurkey (last 4 phone is 5597) PayPal: rikurox6@yahoo.com Cash App: $KaeBurkey Friend and family to avoid additional fees.
We can only accommodate so many free admissions to Disney and/or Universal Studios, and can not guarantee anyone free tickets. We will do our best though to assist with discounts where available.
We have already invited someone of a great distance to stay in our home, not to mention limited space as it is. We cannot extend this invitation to anyone else.
We understand that the majority of guests are traveling a distance. That being said, we can only do so much financially to help everyone out. Please understand that while we can and will look for discounts we cannot cover hotel rooms and lodging. We will do our best to find a hotel block of reasonable price, distance, and amenities, though do ask that the rooms be paid by the guest. We will gladly pay the upfront bulk cost and be paid back by anyone needing the rooms provided.
We ask that the ceremony be an unplugged event. We do have access to photography, and do not want to see your cell phones in our photos. Should an appropriate moment come up in ceremony, we will announce that you may have your phones out for that moment. Kae absolutely will confiscate phones if seen during the event without permission. Her dress has pockets and she’s not afraid to use them.
While we actually met on Halloween in 2009, and discussed having a true Halloween day wedding, we agreed that August 7 was more sentimental. This day specifically is our 10th anniversary as a couple.
Cats will not be in attendance, as they will hide or get into things they shouldn’t be. Please feel free to reach out to set up time to visit them, they love pets!
