This is one of our favorite breakfast spots and it is located right across the street from the Valley Hotel. Kady gets the famous Squawking Goat Biscuit and Mike gets the Five and Dime.

Maple Street Biscuit Company - Homewood

We go here for lunch or dinner at least five or more times a month! It is a great spot to grab a fabulous burger and fries. Mike's favorite is the "Smiley Burger", which is on the secret menu, and Kady always gets the "Cobra Kai".

Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint Birmingham

Our favorite Italian restaurant in Birmingham. We like the Caprese Salad and Arancini as appetizers and the Bucatini Pomodoro as the entree.

Bocca Ristorante

Saws is a great BBQ joint. We love their BBQ chicken sandwich with the white sauce(key) and sweet potato fries. This restaurant is also close to the Valley Hotel.

This is a great place some southern fried chicken. Be careful with how spicy you go!

Hattie B's Hot Chicken - Birmingham

Zaza is one of our go to's for a moderately priced, quality meal. We love their pastas and pizzas! They also have a great brunch.

One of Mike's go to's for something quick and easy. He recommends their quesadillas, nachos, and burritos!

Taco Mama - Edgewood

A good place to grab food and try a new beer. Mike loves their Margarita Pizza and Kady always gets the Back Forty burger.

Where Kady's pants saleswoman career started in high school. There's lot more than just pants in here.

Pants Store Crestline

This is a cool place to get drinks that are unique to you. You can tell the bartenders your favorite types of drinks and they'll make you something just for you.

The Collins Bar

The downtown Homewood strip is right across from the Valley Hotel and close to the venue. It is a great little street of shops and restaurants if you are looking for something to do. Maple Street Biscuit Company is on this street among others!
