We met at an Americans for Informed Democracy meeting at Boston College in 2010. Tyler, a junior at the time, was the president and Kadie was a freshman. We paired up to plan an event on BC campus about political satire, and we bonded over episodes of Wait Wait Don't Tell Me and Saturday Night Live. As we became closer friends, hanging out at BC football games and talking constantly, we realized we were destined for much more. Shortly after Tyler graduated, we went to a mutual friend's party. Though we parted at a reasonable time, we texted the rest of the night. The next day, a Sunday, Kadie set aside her studying for an afternoon to hang out and read with Tyler in the Boston Common. When he dropped Kadie off that night, he asked her out for dinner. We have been inseparable ever since.
