We went on vacation to Colorado to see Kadie best friend and so she could show Mike where she grew up. On the third day of our trip we rent a boat to spend the day on the lake. It was a very interesting day from the start. As we drove up the mountain to the lake it started snowing and was 20 degrees outside. we made out 2 hour trip to the lake and it was no longer snowing and had warmed up to 50 degrees. we spent 6 hours on the boat not catching but 1 single fish. It was a beautiful day but freezing and the water was so rough. We docked the boat and all loaded in the car to head home. About 30 minutes into our drive Mike pulls over to the side of the road cause he said was hungry and wanted to make a sandwich. As Mike is making his sandwich I walk over to the edge of the rive that we parked next to. It was beautiful. Then I turn around and there is Mike trying to get something out of his pocket. I knew what he was trying to do. After what seemed like 5 minutes he finally get the box out of his pocket gets down on one knee and says "Since the first time I meet you we have had a bond like no other and as the days went on I fell more and more in love with you.I kneel on one knee and promise you that I will love you for the rest of our lives and to always be the man you need me to be. Will you marry me?" and as you all know I said YES!!! Then I gave him my right hand and he put the ring on my figure and it took us almost 2 days to relise the ring was on the wrong hand🤦‍♀️. It may have not been perfect but it was perfect for us.
